Established to strengthen governance and accountability

Zamindlela Consulting is a 100% black female owned and managed accounting, taxation, business advisory and Information and communications technologyThe hardware, software, networks and data services an organisation uses to store, process and share information.-enabled digital transformation firm. It was established to strengthen governance and accountability by offering innovative accounting, taxation and business advisory services designed to suit different client needs.

The firm was founded on the in-depth and diverse skills, knowledge and experience of its founding director, a Chartered Accountant. Her fellow senior professionals are also Chartered Accountants who understand both the private and public sector environment. The firm has since added data, systems and AI capability to its core, so that governance, finance and technology are addressed together rather than in isolation.

A word from our founder

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Zamindlela Consulting (“Zamindlela”), who we are and what we stand for. In that spirit I extend a warm welcome to our firm, where we believe your organisation’s needs will be met with skill, diligence and innovative solutions.

Zamindlela was founded to be a partner to good corporate governance, sound financial and performance accountability, and the development of our economy at large. We believe that everything is connected: we are a system, and every component matters for the whole to work well. That belief has shaped the quality of service we offer and the value we create for those we serve.

The world our clients operate in is changing. Most organisations, and government and public service institutions in particular, are either operating in or working towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution: digitised systems, automation, data and connected processes. The globe is already moving beyond this. The Fifth Industrial Revolution places people back at the centre, with human judgement and artificial intelligence working together to deliver outcomes that are more responsive, more accountable and more humane.

Zamindlela has aligned its vision, its mission and its offering to this shift. We are incorporating AI into how we deliver every service, so that our clients benefit from faster, more accurate and more insightful work. And we have built a new offering that prepares government and the public service for the transition: getting the ICT systems, processes, data, tools and algorithms right so that institutions can move confidently from 4IR to 5IR, with the public servant and the citizen at the centre.

We are a team of diverse skills and experience, and we offer fit-for-purpose services and solutions. Our core team of Chartered Accountants is now complemented by data, systems and AI specialists, and every professional in the firm is trained in the responsible use of AI in their work.

It is for this reason that we take responsibility for addressing the socio-economic challenges facing our communities. We undertake or take part in programmes and projects that alleviate challenges such as gender-based violence, poverty and unemployment, and we respond to natural disasters that affect our local communities, such as fires and floods, through financial and other relief.

We take pride in creating employment opportunities for young graduates to address the high unemployment faced by the young people of our country, and we are extending this to digital and AI skills so that young South Africans are ready for the jobs of the Fifth Industrial Revolution. We also participate in and support recreational initiatives that bring sports, arts and cultural activities to our communities.
